Olives Ole' - Internat'l Olive Festival of Texas
Event Description This is Les Dames d'Escoffier, San Antonio Chapter's second annual International Olive Festival located at the beautiful Sandy Oaks Olive Orchard just 20 minutes south of San Antonio. Our first Olive Festival was so much fun and was such a huge success, we decided to make this an annual event. Event highlights: * Gourmet Food Concessions * The Region's Largest Olive Bar * See a "Live and Fresh" Mediterranean Food Pyramid that will show the foods that are a part of a healthy lifestyle * Expert Seminars on how to select quality olive oil, olive oil tastings, how to grow olives and preserve your harvest, health & wellness experts will share information on the health & nutritional benefits of olive oil and how olive oil is the ultimate green product for household uses and skincare, soap making using olive oil * Learn how to keep a Mediterranean pantry and use olive oil in cooking in the many food demonstrations * Mediterranean herb gardening * Raffle tickets with prize drawings every hour * Gift shop and tours of the olive orchard * Children's activity area. Tickets will be on sale at area HEB stores on 2/27 and at the gate day of event. To get to the festival from San Antonio, take I37 South to exit#120 (Hardy Road), go left or east on Hardy Road, entrance on left.

25 vendors, exciting food and wine concessions for foodies, cooking demonstrations by chefs and other experts, health and nutrition seminars, olive oil beauty products, presentations on Mediterranean herbs and growing olive trees for pleasure or profit, entertainment, tours of the olive ranch and olive oil presentations. Suitable for all ages 10 & up.

$10 at gate. Proceeds benefit scholarships. Presented by Les Dames d' Escoffier San Antonio Chapter. Ample free parking.
