In 2006, Les Dames d’Escoffier International launched Green Tables as a way to strengthen the connection between farmers and the food that ends up on home and restaurant tables. Chapters throughout the world participate in different ways to deepen this relationship. Locally, our chapter sponsors Time Dollar and Community Gardens initiatives, through monetary and food donations as well as cooking demonstrations and classes, and health, food and nutrition education.
